Today, we used the last of the warm water for washing our hands. I tried using normal tap water and after 15min I am still defrosting. The guys came to replace the heater. Woohoo. Thank God for small miracles.

It’s getting really cold here in Paris. And heard that it’s a really wet Dec in Spore.
PS: Our water heater blew the fuse last night.
Dear God please save us.
Update: The Ariston guy came just now and said the entire thing has to be replaced. Wednesday is D-Day.
Back in 2005, Jo and I started this blog for friends and family, to keep them updated about our lives here in Paris. It’s been nearly 2 years now and things have settled down into a state of normalcy. We don’t get surprised/flustered by the system compared to the 1st year. We can copy the glazed look while waiting for the metro, manage a decent exchange of words with the storekeeper for 10seconds… eg “hope the strike ends soon”, to which I reply “bah oui…” with a frown and the mouth inverted at just the right angle. We work, eat, sleep, just like the other folks in Paris. The Eiffel is another landmark on the way home and Champ Elysees is a place I don’t go to except for the occasional movie. This place is not exotic anymore, it’s feels a little more like home.
So in short we have 3 choices:
1. Stop blogging (hate blogging for blogging’s sake)
2. Less blogging (maybe 1 to 2 updates a month)
3. Blog about other stuff (which might throw some pple off)
We’ll see how it goes la.

PS: the train peeps are calling for a strike next week 12th dec. more traffic mayhem madness. woohoo.
It was a busy November. I am tied up with post processing for couple of projects and Jo has been busy with her own stuff. Haven’t had time to game since April and I played only 1 game with friends in October when I was back. Playing intensive scrabble rounds on FB doesn’t quite have the same kick. Jo and I are writing proposals for some interesting work next year, hopefully we’ll get to try out some ideas that’s been in incubation. I am thankful for this November coz the last 2 were tough ones. =)
