We went to the prefecture yesterday to update our visas. Also, we happened to be interview by one of the stricter staff. She’s curt, throughly official and very very French. It turned out great! Our work permits are going to be renewed for another year. Thank God.

So, some folks from Spore have been asking questions this time we went back.

QUE: Are we are heading back to Singapore for good?
ANS: No, we are not heading back to Singapore.

QUE: So how long are we staying?
ANS: As long as it takes. And no, we are not migrating.

QUE: How are you guys doing?
ANS: We are content. It’s been a roller-coaster ride. There’s been a lot of ups and downs and I would be lying if I’d said that we had didn’t have our dark moments. But on the whole we are content.

QUE: Why haven’t you put shots of Paris up on Memphiswest.com?
ANS: Because Paris is a place of rest for me. It’s a been a sabbatical, I came here 1.5 years ago exhausted from work. I don’t want to take pictures of Paris for the sake of taking pictures.
